Best Practices for SNAP Integrations for Mobile and Desktop
SNAP Homepage Mobile
The integration depends on the website but best practice is that the tool lives directly underneath your homepage banner, or the main image of your website. The color of the banner should match the buttons already on your website. This way, the tool matches the website seamlessly in color and with all interactive elements appearing cohesive.
SNAP Homepage Desktop
Just like the mobile integration, the SNAP tool should live underneath the main image of your homepage. The color of the bar, just like with the mobile, should match the color of the buttons of your website. This location has proven to be effective and gets roughly 15% of all leads through this avenue. When scrolling below the banner, the floating button should appear as well.

SNAP SRP Mobile
On your search results page the most beneficial placement is at the top. Once the user scrolls past the tool and onto the search results a floating button appears on the bottom of the screen. The button location can change to left of right side of the bottom of the screen. Right side works well, but a thoughtful integration with other icons that may already is exist is best.
SNAP SRP Desktop
The desktop version of the SRP integration works best as a banner on the top of the screen as shown below. Locking the SNAP banner just underneath the navigation bar allows for the highest opportunity for conversion without interfering with the page.
NOTE: Program sites do not allow for locking banner

SNAP VDP Mobile
For vehicle description pages the SNAP integration lives in two places. The first is on top just underneath the navigation bar. The secondary location is another button inside the vehicle description area along with the other buttons. The button can be made the same color to match or a different color to stand out.

On the vehicle description page for desktop the SNAP banner should exist in two places as well. The first is under the navigation bar. The second is included in the buttons as a part of the description, this is controlled by the website vendor but it is a recommended location.

Navigation Bar Placement
The SNAP tool can live in many places in your navigation bar in order to collect all the different kinds of customers. Some dealers even create an additional location on their navigation bar for the SNAP tool. We recommend having the link to the SNAP Value Your Trade tool in these 5 places:

Firstly, the quick rule for determining the color of your SNAP banner integration is use the same color as the other buttons on your webpage have.
If the same color button does not have the desired effect, then use a complimentary color or color that has strong contrast with the main color of the website. This will allow it to stand out from the website image.
Lastly, if neither of those two options work, choose a color from the logo of the dealership itself. Chances are that the brand identity is based off of it and a color from that logo would fit in well.
