Subaru Guaranteed Trade Program SNAP Setup Follow
What Is It?
Subaru's Guaranteed Trade Program (GTP) is an offer directly from Subaru to get Subaru owners to trade-in their older Subaru's for new Subarus. SUBARU!
How it Works
You can view the process here: http://staging.snapdealership.com/landings/subaru
When a consumer selects their vehicle, and it's a Subaru model within the last six years, this GTP modal appears, instead of our standard SNAP contact info form.
The consumer can enter their VIN or "Continue without VIN", which takes them through the normal SNAP process.
If they enter the VIN, we use the Subaru GTP API to return the guaranteed value in addition to the SNAP trade-in range.
If a consumer skips the VIN, they do have the option to enter their VIN after receiving their market report, and re-enter the GTP process.
What's Included / Excluded?
- See Subaru's limitations here: https://www.subaru.com/guaranteed-trade-in-program/rules.html
- Must be a Subaru
- Model year must be within the last 6 years
Why Our Solution is Different & Better
Compared to our competitors
TradePending has the only solution for Subaru dealers that doesn't require VIN. We give users the option of going through the regular SNAP process or the GTP process. All other solutions force the user to use the GTP process, reducing website conversion with the VIN requirement.
Additionally, we display both the GTP trade-in value as well as the SNAP value, including all of the dealer costs below the scatter plot. The other solutions only display the GTP value, providing the consumer with less information and transparency.
Compared to the previous way before this feature
Prior to this approach, a dealer would need to have two trade-in forms on their site. One with the GTP process, and one for SNAP. This was confusing for the end user, and resulted in lost leads and lower conversions. Our approach provides dealers with one trade-in approach for both processes.
